New Year Greeting

Monday, December 31, 2007

With the close of any project there are always mixed feelings. There is the joy of success and the disappointments of goals yet to be achieved.  As is the case with the turning of the page into 2008.

NPG Inc had a great year in many ways, yet we suffered from the changing of the tides.  This year, we bid farewell to a long time friend, a co-worker as Michael Drummond moved onto other adventures.  Despite the active part he played in the company’s disc jockey service, we have found greater success with others who chose to join the team.

We are very pleased to have joined forces with Mr. Rob Peters and Mr. John Jahshan.  Both these individuals have more than 20 years experience of corporate events, family events, and understand the work ethics of NPG Inc and continue to work with us to raise the standard of excellence, both in the office and on the event floor.

This year we also had another new face join us on a full time basis.  We are very pleased to have Darrin Holt come to join the family of NPG Inc.  Darrin comes to us from the cruise ship events industry, and prior, the tent and event industry.  Darrin’s knowledge and dedication has certainly brought our production services back up to par, and our small rentals department growing.  Darrin’s foresight and experiences have been a great addition to this company.

I am also very pleased that Janel Dean continues to be on top of the daily business matters, and those of you with outstanding balances are well aware of her diligence.  Her wit keeps things fresh and exciting.

I continue to be very hands on with the as many of the folk clubs as possible, larger events, and faith based events.  This past quarter, I was asked to move into more of a Tour Management role with a group of artist, and very quickly remembered how much I loved that.  This has been a refreshing change, and I certainly look forward to more adventures to come.

With the addition of some key items such as a Martin Line Array system, Yamaha M7CL Digital Consoles, countless mics, stands and cables, NPG is geared up; our staff is ready to take on your most demanding projects.

We look forward to an exceptional year in 2008 and thank you for your support in the past.
