Saturday, January 26, 2008 — Strathcona Community Centre

This night will be dedicated to showcase a few of Calgary’s hard working musicians.  The house band of coarse will open the show, the Lindsay Ell will take the stage with her group.  I first met Lindsay over at the Cochrane Folk Club when she opened up for Fred Eaglesmith.  I was totally taken back with her preformance at that time, and know with out a doubt, this night will be exceptional.

The next group will be Tim Hus.  This three piece band we have all run across in many places including Lilacfest and a few clubs inbetween.  This three piece band has Spider on the upright and Rick on the electric guitar with Tim’s acoustic up center is bound to keep your toes tapping.
