The Shure U2/Beta 58A wireless handheld is a very rugged item.  With it’s all metal housing, the two AA batteries will produce a solid 12-hour transmission period.  The LCD displays shows the group/channel setting, the five segment battery fuel gauge, and if the unit is power / frequency locked.  The 1/4 wave helical antenna produces great range.  The main power switch is located right by the antenna, making it most impossible to bump the switch by accident.  We have had great success with these microphones, and thus we continue to support Shure Wireless Solutions.

Please note for any wireless handheld system to function, you require 2 items, a receiver set to the frequency the the handheld is transmitting, and this wireless microphone.

Of coarse when this system is rented from us, we will ensure it is ready for your use with two simple connections, one into a wall plug for power, and the other connection into your sound system with a simple microphone cable.  If you require a sound system – we are pleased to assist you with selecting only the required items for your sized venue also.
