The N/D408B is a supercardioid, dynamic microphone best suited to mic percussion, guitar amp and horns for live performance and studio recording.

Maximum flexibility for positioning the microphone is provided by the unique pivoting yoke configuration. This microphone utilizes a revolutionary neodynamic alloy to form the EV-exclusive N/DYM magnet. The N/DYM magnetic structure is maximized to provide 6-dB more output sensitivity over conventional designs while the more uniform magnetic field lowers distortion during peak sound pressure levels. This is all achieved by a computer-optimized design.
